There's no shortage of articles on this website covering different areas of the law and if that's what you're looking for, you'll find plenty of it here. But for a while, I've wanted to create a space for something a little different. A space that's less about what we do, and more about who we are.

Because when you come to Dormer Stanhope, you're not just engaging a firm. You're working directly with me.

I'm Justeen; principal lawyer, business owner, and mother. I've spent nearly three decades in law, built my own firm, and developed expertise across areas that most practitioners keep firmly separate. I'm also navigating, like many of us, what it means to run a practice in an era where AI is reshaping how legal work gets done. Those aren't separate parts of my life. They inform each other constantly, and there's a lot behind the choices I've made, personally and professionally, that I think is worth sharing.

So, this is that space. Each week, a member of this team will be pulling back the curtain on life at Dormer Stanhope explaining how we got here, what we are passionate about, and what we genuinely believe makes for great legal practice.
