Renee Jensen

Consultant Lawyer

Renee was admitted to legal practice in 1998 after completing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws at the University of Newcastle. She went on to obtain a Master of Laws from the Australian National University and later completed a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law.


Renee served as a permanent Legal Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force for 20 years, advising on a wide range of matters including military justice, operations law, administrative investigations, and international legal frameworks. She deployed to the Middle East in 2004 and held senior advisory positions across multiple Defence commands. Renee now continues to serve as a Reserve Legal Officer, providing her expertise on investigations and disciplinary processes.


In addition to her military legal work, Renee has held senior legal and compliance roles across the pharmaceutical and medical industries, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, internal investigations, and child protection. Her recent roles have included leading youth protection and complaints management at Scouts NSW, and compliance leadership roles at Alcon Laboratories and Allergan Aesthetics.


Renee brings to the firm a wealth of experience in administrative and disciplinary law, complaints handling, and family law, underpinned by a calm and pragmatic approach. She has a particular interest in supporting clients through complex and sensitive matters.
